A very interesting little museum that is based in a house. Knowledgeable staff and a lovely black Labrador called Harvey was at the desk waiting to greet all comers! The museum covers maritime history from the 14th century up to about the Second World War, maybe slightly later. Certainly worth a look if you are in Appledore :)
Fascinating local museum detailing the maritime history of the local area. Far more to read and understand than you'd think! Museum is about 8 themed rooms spread over two floors. Lots of models, photographs and descriptions. Toilets are available. Car park across the road.
Lovely little museum, very friendly staff - full of knowledge and information. Child friendly for any ages! Our almost 3 year old loved it.
