Devon Live Media South West have reported that 'hundreds' of terrified roosting " STARLINGS" awoken in the middle of the dark night by the new years eve fireworks, being disorientated, scared, were flying into the walls of nearby properties, with the "STARLINGS" on the ground being 'kicked' by the inconsiderate firework observers, with other concerned observers feeling physically upset by the disturbance...."STARLING" numbers have dropped by 60% in the U.K......Now on the R.S.P.B. 'red list'........"STARLINGS" are good songsters, even 'mimicking' other bird calls....."STARLINGS" eat many 'insects' which might become a 'pest' to gardners + farmers......"STARLINGS" have a summer + winter plumage with irridescent colours that are enhanced in sunlight......Mature Thinking E.U.
