BUTCHERS..! Do not go there. Had a wisdom tooth ripped out, no attempt to extract it in one piece just twisted it till it broke off and then explained that I have to be referred to another dentist to have an operation to get the spike of tooth that is now protruding from my gum... Oh and to make matters worse the so called dentist stabbed me in the back of the throat TWICE with the tool he was using when he slipped off the tooth..!! Feel like Ive been abused. I wanted to leave positive feedback because I felt the receptionist made my feel like I was being heard. I believe Nardia (apologises if I've got name wrong) was very helpful by going above and beyond her duty to get the appointment I needed today, even when I was OK to let it go for another week. Great customer service with a smile is what I received.
Had to have a temporary filling whilst I was pregnant. The first 2 weeks were unbearable with it dragging across the adjacent teeth and having a sharp edge to the inner side against my tongue. Eventually it settled down and it in fact lasted a very long time, 8 months, but when it was eventually lost it took my whole exposed tooth with it! The tooth from the gum line up has been cracked into small pieces. The natural tooth has been completely weakened and destroyed. I dont know what has gone wrong, but I do know that my tooth was not in a poor state of decay and has been damaged by this temporary filling. Worse yet, I called for an emergency appointment as the roots are still imbedded and my entire face is pounding, to be told the next available appointment is in 12 days time!Edit - I managed to get an appointment to see the same dentist (Bruno) After a quick pokes round he advised me The treatment required comes at a cost of 250?! I asked for a breakdown from reception, as I am an NHS patient and currently exempt with a maternity certificate. The treatment was a simple filling, plus airflow (private cleaning treatment) at 90, and custom made teeth whitening trays and bleaching set?! I explained I dont need my teeth whitened, they are perfectly clean and white, but after checking with Bruno he said I cant have a filling without the airflow which I would have to pay for even though it was supposedly very necessary?!I called an emergency dental practice. I was seen same day. This practice took x rays straight away (something mydentist have never done!) I had a decayed tooth that requires a clean up, potentially root canal depending on the depth of the decay, but the tooth is salvageable and my overall oral health was very good and the recommendations put forward by Bruno was in their opinion a way to profit off patients without doing the necessary work.I have since contact the mydentist practice manager but have had no response.
Just been number 1 in queue hanging on the line for 45 minutes before I gave up!!! Want to make an appointment with a different dentist so can't do this online.
