Great Coffee shop, supported by both locals and visitors alike. Modest menu which includes jacket potatoes. Some outside seating too.

Great place to pop in for a cup of tea/coffee. Serves a wide mixture of food, from cooked meals to wonderfull fresh home baked cakes & cheesecakes. Very reasonably prices too
Our visit didn't live up to expectations. The man sitting at the table outside enjoying a cigarette assured us it's a great place to eat. He was wrong. We weren't greeted or seated in the almost empty shop. Must have been five minutes before anyone approached us to take our order after we'd found our own table and menu. Hubby and I ordered quiche with salad and coleslaw. It was the weirdest flavoured quiche I've ever tasted. No idea what was in it! The salad had a strange sweet dressing on it. The two just didn't go together. I ordered orange juice to drink. Didn't taste fresh and I suspect it wasn't even out of a carton. Tasted like nothing much at all. Definitely not orange!At the end of the meal we went to the counter to pay. No one asked if we'd enjoyed our meal. Just took our money. Definitely won't be visiting again and I suggest you stay away too. On walking further up the street we found lots of lovely looking alternatives that we wished we'd visited instead. While we were eating, a couple came in, sat at a table, looked at the menu then changed their mind and left before ordering. Wish we'd done the same!
